The draftsman main job duty is to create technical drawings based on given specifications and calculations.

Prepare engineering drawings that details plans and specifications, draft technical details, and provide details on components descriptions.

Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for mechanical equipment dies/tools and controls using the computer.

Coordinate with and consult other workers to design layout or details components and system and to resolve design.

Liaising with architects & coordinate with the other contractors using revise instantly (REVIT).

Help project managers develop and maintain documents such as meeting minutes, drawings, specifications, approvals, and related items.

Prepare bill of quantity then purchasing order after finishing design drawings for projects.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree

AutoCAD, Revit, 3d MAX and MS OFFICE certificates

American design association certification (if it available).

shop drawing

as built drawing

Reviewing information for completeness and accuracy.

Checks plans.

Transform 2D drawings into 3D drawings (If required).

Prepare assembly and detail drawings on the basis of the information and instruction provided.

Makes necessary calculations for drawing development.

Prepares and assists in drawing revisions are required.

Prepares As-built drawings in the prescribed computer sheet given by the Client/Consultant and assists in Project Close-Outs.

Maintains knowledge of Company standards and incorporates these into engineering design.

Performs other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
