Responsibility:

Identify all relevant standards and Customer requirements, ensuring compliance with relevant National/ International Standards and legislation, and contract specification

Identify, specify, and requisition all required Electrical materials required with a working knowledge of Electrical equipment s.

Design electrical power systems including layouts, sections, and electrical calculation.

Develop and evaluate conceptual Electrical design options.

Develop technical descriptions detailing physical Electrical design project scope of work for project execution plans and facility studies.

Perform engineering analysis/calculations to support Electrical designs.

Design work to be undertaken with due regard to Health, Safety & Environmental Procedures, and production of Designer Risk Assessments, as necessary, to fulfil the Company s obligations

Review Electrical construction package.

Provide quality reviews of construction packages prior to issuance to construction.

Provide technical assistance during the construction of projects.

Prepare all required drawings / models and perform design check of drawing contents to be submitted for customer / sub-contractor interface

Attend and contribute to Design Reviews / Construction Support / Contract Close-out Meetings, ensuring that appropriate items are actioned in a timely manner.

Liaise with other designers and technicians for drawings and calculations requirements. (Including Suppliers).

Prepare B.O.Qs.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Strong communication Skills.

Strong analytical skill.

Strong in MS Office.

Strong in CAD/MicroStation /Revit.

Powe system design software.
