Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their interior design needs and preferences.
• Develop preliminary design concepts and present them to clients for approval.
• Coordinate with architects and builders to ensure design feasibility and accuracy.
• Prepare detailed interior design plans, including layouts and material specifications.
• Manage project timelines and budgets to ensure timely and within-cost delivery.
• Source and procure appropriate materials, furnishings, and fixtures for projects.
• Inspect completed installations to ensure they match design specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain communication with clients, providing updates and addressing any concerns during the project.
• Organize and lead design meetings between team members and stakeholders.
• Prepare final project documentation and coordinate the completion of any necessary paperwork.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends and industry standards to enhance projects.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to assess success and areas for improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field required.
• Proven experience in a design coordination role within the interior design industry.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and attention to detail in design work.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with a multitasking ability.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability principles is advantageous.
