Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare detailed electrical drawings and schematics for the Monorail Project using CAD software.
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop accurate design documentation and ensure compliance with project specifications.
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to create precise electrical layouts.
Revise and update existing electrical drawings as required throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical designs with mechanical and civil components.
Ensure all electrical drafting work adheres to industry standards, safety regulations, and company guidelines.
Assist in the preparation of bill of materials (BOM) and technical documentation for procurement and installation.
Participate in design review meetings and provide technical input to optimize project outcomes.
Support site teams with technical clarifications and resolve design-related issues during construction.
Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and project documentation for future reference.
Desired Candidate Profile
2 to 5 years of experience as an electrical draftsman or similar role, preferably in rail or infrastructure projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software for electrical drafting and design.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, layouts, and schematic development.
Ability to interpret and apply technical standards, codes, and regulations relevant to electrical design.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in preparing technical drawings.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with engineers, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams.
Experience working in an office-based environment with occasional site coordination.
Strong understanding of LV / ELV systems & organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
Commitment to upholding safety and quality standards in all drafting activities.
