Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of automotive components using SolidWorks, ensuring adherence to industry standards and specifications.
- Perform design calculations, simulations, and analysis (FEA, CFD) to validate designs and optimize performance, durability, and manufacturability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, testing, purchasing) to ensure design feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and timely project completion.
- Manage and maintain design documentation, including revisions, BOMs, and engineering change orders, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
Desired Candidate Profile
Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
Demonstrates a minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive design using SolidWorks, with a focus on component design.
Exhibits a strong understanding of automotive engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and materials.
