Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and execute innovative interior and exterior design concepts for residential and commercial projects.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and multidisciplinary teams to understand project requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Prepare detailed design drawings, 3D models and presentations using industry-standard software.
- Select appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings that align with project specifications and client preferences.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards.
- Oversee the design process from concept through to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and resolve design-related issues.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine and optimize design solutions.
- Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in interior and exterior design.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 3 to 7 years of proven experience in interior and exterior design engineering.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, renderings, Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and construction techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrated creativity and attention to detail in design execution.
- Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards.
- Experience working in a home-based or hybrid environment is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced setting.
