Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative designs using CAD software to create detailed models and technical drawings that meet project specifications.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective.
  • Perform simulations and analysis to validate design integrity under various conditions, ensuring safety and efficiency.
  • Create prototypes and oversee testing processes, gathering data to refine designs based on real-world performance.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables, coordinating with stakeholders to align engineering efforts with business goals.
  • Document design processes and maintain comprehensive records to support future modifications and regulatory compliance.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve design methodologies.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback, fostering a collaborative environment for innovation.
  • Assist in the development of product specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing and assembly teams, troubleshooting issues and facilitating a smooth production workflow.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field is required for a strong foundation in engineering principles.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is essential for creating high-quality design models and technical documentation.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in design engineering within the automotive, aerospace, or consumer electronics sectors, showcasing industry expertise.
  • Experience with simulation software (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB) to analyze design performance and optimize solutions for various applications.
  • Strong understanding of materials science and manufacturing processes to effectively select components and ensure design feasibility.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a creative mindset, enabling innovative approaches to complex design challenges.
  • Effective communication skills to convey technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments, demonstrating adaptability to changing project requirements.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality assurance, ensuring all designs meet rigorous standards and client expectations.
  • Fluency in English is required, with additional language skills being a plus for international collaboration and client interactions.
