Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute mechanical design and engineering activities for onshore and offshore oil & gas facilities.
  • Prepare and review mechanical design deliverables including specifications, datasheets, equipment layouts, P&IDs, and 3D models.
  • Perform design calculations for static and rotating equipment, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and piping systems.
  • Ensure all designs comply with international codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO etc.) and client specifications.
  • Review and approve vendor documents, technical bids, and equipment drawings.
  • Ensure quality assurance, safety, and environmental compliance across all design activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement by developing and updating mechanical design standards and best practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field is required for a strong foundation in engineering principles.
  • Proficiency in CAD software is essential for creating high-quality design models and technical documentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a creative mindset, enabling innovative approaches to complex design challenges.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments, demonstrating adaptability to changing project requirements.
