Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Design Engineer (CSA) to join our team! In this role you will get to design and integration of a building's physical infrastructure, from foundations and structural supports to architectural elements, ensuring compliance with codes, safety, and client requirements throughout a project's lifecycle
What You'll Be Doing:

Develop designs for concrete pads, foundations, structural steel supports, site preparation (including drainage and paving), and architectural modifications.

Collaborate with and manage input from other design teams, including Mechanical, Electrical, and Controls engineers, to ensure integrated design solutions.

Address technical challenges and resolve field issues by liaising with design teams, contractors, and consultants during construction.

Create, maintain, and review project documentation, including design drawings, specifications, technical submissions, and as-built records.

Ensure that all CSA designs meet relevant building codes, industry standards, and client requirements, such as safety, security, and cost-effectiveness.

Assist with cost estimation, risk assessments, construction quality control, and the preparation of reports on project progress and design changes.

Proficiency in relevant CAD and design software.

Strong understanding of building codes and regulations.

Excellent communication skills to manage stakeholders, contractors, and internal teams.

Ability to identify risks, propose innovative solutions, and resolve complex technical issues.
