Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities


The Design Engineer is responsible for preparing accurate and efficient engineering designs,

drawings, calculations, and technical documentation in compliance with project

specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings, layouts, and design calculations.

  • Review project specifications, BOQ, and contract requirements.

  • Develop shop drawings and fabrication drawings.

  • Coordinate with project and site teams for design clarifications.

  • Ensure designs comply with local regulations and industry standards.

  • Perform technical analysis and material selection.

  • Revise drawings as per client/consultant comments.

  • Support estimation team with technical inputs during tender stage.

  • Maintain proper documentation and drawing control records.

  • Assist in value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.

  • 3–8 years of relevant design experience (UAE/GCC preferred).

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of other design software preferred.

  • Strong technical and analytical skills.

  • Good coordination and communication abilities.

  • Accuracy of design and drawings

  • Timely submission of drawings

  • Reduction in rework or design errors

  • Compliance with standards and specifications

  • Support to project execution efficiency
