Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed piping layouts, isometrics, and spool drawings using relevant software, ensuring adherence to project specifications and industry standards.
  • Perform hydraulic calculations and pipe stress analysis to optimize piping systems, considering factors like pressure drop, fluid flow, and thermal expansion.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of vendor drawings and specifications for piping components, ensuring compatibility and compliance with project requirements.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines (e.g., process, mechanical, civil) to integrate piping systems seamlessly within the overall plant design.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Holds a minimum of 5 years of experience in piping design within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Power generation industries.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in using 3D modeling software like AutoCAD Plant 3D, CADWorx, or similar tools.
  • Exhibits a strong understanding of relevant industry codes and standards such as ASME B3 and API
