Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed technical submittals for fire-rated doors and joinery, ensuring compliance with project specifications and fire safety regulations.
  • Develop accurate cost estimations for projects, including material costs, labor, and other associated expenses, to ensure profitability and competitive pricing.
  • Review architectural and engineering drawings to understand project scope and identify potential design challenges or conflicts related to fire-rated products.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to provide technical support and offer value-engineered solutions.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field; a strong foundation is key.
  • Holds relevant certifications such as a Fire Door Inspector certification; demonstrates commitment to fire safety.
  • Has a minimum of 3 years of experience in the fire-rated doors and joinery industry; proven expertise is expected.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software; technical skills are crucial.
