Design Manager Aluminium / Fa ade Systems

Lead and manage the complete design process for aluminium, fa ade, curtain wall, doors, and window systems.

Oversee preparation, review, and approval of shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and technical submittals.

Develop and supervise designs for unitized aluminium systems and fa ade solutions for high-rise buildings.

Coordinate with architects, consultants, structural engineers, and project teams to ensure design accuracy.

Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, local authority standards, and client requirements.

Manage design schedules, deadlines, and resource planning for multiple projects.

Supervise drafting and design teams using AutoCAD and Orgadata software.

Provide technical solutions for site issues, fabrication challenges, and installation requirements.

Review material selections, profiles, hardware, and glazing systems including double glazed doors/windows.

Optimize designs for cost efficiency, manufacturability, and installation ease.

Attend project meetings and provide technical presentations when required.

Ensure coordination between design, production, procurement, and site execution teams.

Maintain quality standards, document control, and revision management.

Mentor junior designers and improve team performance.

Support tendering and estimation teams with technical inputs when required.

Requirements

Minimum 12+ years of experience in aluminium/fa ade design management.

Strong experience in high-rise building projects.

Proficient in AutoCAD.

Hands-on experience with Orgadata.

Strong technical knowledge of Unitized Aluminium Systems.

Good knowledge of double glazed doors and windows.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Ability to join immediately.
