Roles & Responsibilities

.Job DescriptionParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Design Manager Infra (Deep Services) to join our team! Design Manager will be responsible for overseeing the design, coordination, and execution of deep infrastructure services within a high-end luxury hospitality, residential, and infrastructure development. The role requires extensive experience in deep utilities, including water, sewage, stormwater drainage, district cooling, power distribution, and telecommunication networks, ensuring seamless integration with the overall project.What You'll Be DoingDeep Infrastructure Design & Planning:Lead the design, development, and integration of deep utility services, ensuring efficiency, sustainability, and regulatory compliance.Oversee the engineering design of potable water, wastewater, stormwater, electrical substations, district cooling, gas, and telecom networks.Ensure deep services align with the masterplan, architectural, and structural requirements of the development.Implement advanced modeling techniques and hydraulic simulations to optimize system performance.Project Execution & CoordinationCollaborate with MEP, civil, structural, and transportation teams to integrate deep services into the project seamlessly.Coordinate with municipal authorities, utility providers, and regulatory agencies for approvals and compliance.Manage design consultants and contractors to ensure quality execution within budget and timeline constraints.Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of deep services to meet operational requirements.Regulatory Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure all designs comply with local and international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, BS, IEEE, ISO, and local municipality guidelines).Identify and mitigate risks related to groundwater management, flooding, soil stability, and infrastructure conflicts.Stay updated on industry advancements, sustainable utility solutions, and smart infrastructure technologies.Quality Control & Value EngineeringConduct technical reviews, audits, and inspections to maintain the highest standards in deep service infrastructure.Develop and implement cost-effective and value-engineered solutions to optimize service routes and minimize disruptions.Ensure long-term durability and resilience of underground utilities through robust design strategies.Leadership & Stakeholder EngagementLead a team of design engineers, consultants, and contractors, ensuring smooth execution of deep service designs.Represent deep service scope in progress meetings, regulatory discussions, and strategic planning sessions.Act as the key liaison with government agencies, utility providers, and project stakeholders for deep service integration.What Required Skills You'll BringBachelor s or Master s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.16 + years of experience in deep services design and infrastructure development.Extensive expertise in luxury hospitality, residential, and large-scale urban development projects.Strong knowledge of deep utility design software (Civil 3D, WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, StormCAD, ETAP, or similar).Experience working with municipality regulations, permitting processes, and infrastructure authorities.Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
