Responsibilities:

• Acting as the design owner with main duty of securing the design that fulfills the vision and the business case of the project.
• Working very closely with the development department to get clear vision and specific components of the project that can be transferred into design briefs and RFPs to appoint the consultants.
• Preparing the design briefs and design RFPs reflecting the developer s vision and the brand s requirements, evaluating technically the received design offers, giving recommendations for consultants, and managing the awarded ones through the whole life cycle of the project.
• Managing the consultants in all design stages and review their deliverables making sure they follow the project vision, business case, design schedule, within the budget limits, and also the technical standards and codes.
• Reporting on the design consultants performance, and administrate their contracts from technical and financial aspects.
• Preparing the design procurement strategy in line with the development procurement strategy, hence prepare the design master schedule and define the design consultants in all trades.
• Reviewing the brand s standards, space program, FF&E concepts, and transferring all these requirements to the relevant design consultants.
• Conduct value engineering workshops with all related parties to optimize the project cost.
