Design Manager

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the façade design team and manage daily design operations.
• Review and approve shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and cutting lists before production.
• Ensure all manufacturing orders are accurate and aligned with project specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, procurement, and production teams to ensure technical compliance and timely delivery.
• Oversee preparation of detailed 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings for aluminum façade systems.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and client requirements.
• Resolve design-related technical issues and provide solutions during fabrication and installation stages.
• Manage design schedules to meet project deadlines.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate design engineers and drafting staff.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce material waste.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• Minimum 7 10 years of experience in the Aluminum Fabrication Industry, with at least 2 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (3D expertise highly preferred).
• Excellent knowledge in preparing and reviewing manufacturing orders, shop drawings, and cutting lists for fabrication.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Pleasant personality with strong communication and team management abilities.
