At Queen's International School, we are looking for an inspirational and creative Design Technology educator to make a meaningful impact within our inclusive and high-performing Secondary department for the 2026-27 academic year.

The Role

Working closely with our team of creative specialists, you will inspire innovation, nurture practical problem solving and empower students to design with purpose. You ll enjoy a high level of autonomy as you strengthen and elevate the role of Design Technology across our school community. Experience teaching Design Technology at GCSE/iGCSE and A Level is essential, as you will play a key role in guiding our learners through the highest stages of their academic journey.

You will:

Deliver high-quality teaching and learning aligned with the English National Curriculum.

Inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential academically and personally.

Plan creative and challenging lessons that stretch every learner.

Use assessment and feedback effectively to ensure continual progress.

Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the department s curriculum.

The Ideal Candidate

A qualified teacher with a Bachelor s degree in Design or Art (or equivalent) and PGCE/QTS (or equivalent).

Has at least 5 years' experience teaching the English National Curriculum in the Secondary phase.

An educator with a proven record of successful teaching iGCSE and A-Level, ideally within international or British curriculum schools.

Skilled at creating inclusive, engaging learning environments that challenge and support every student.

Confident in integrating technology to enhance learning experiences.

A collaborative professional who thrives in a diverse, forward-thinking team.
