Designer Electrical Engineer

Job Purpose

To work within the Technical Office team and contribute to the preparation and development of electrical designs for projects, including preparing drawings and technical calculations, and coordinating with various engineering disciplines to ensure design integration and quality. The role also involves supporting the development and updating of BIM models for electrical works and assisting with design requirements in accordance with the Saudi Building Code and applicable engineering standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Valid registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers in the relevant discipline.

Required Experience

• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
• Previous experience in engineering consultancy firms is preferred.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Skills

• Good skills in coordination and preparation of engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of the Saudi Building Code and relevant engineering standards.
• Ability to read and analyze engineering drawings.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of electrical designs for projects.
• Prepare preliminary and detailed electrical drawings.
• Review Shop Drawings.
• Prepare load schedules and distribution board schedules.
• Support BIM teams in updating electrical models.
• Prepare electrical technical specifications.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Prepare and follow up on Requests for Information (RFI).
• Prepare technical reports related to electrical design.
