Detection and Intelligence Fusion Analyst - Contractor

To provide entry-level support in Threat Intelligence (CTI), Detection Engineering, and Digital Risk Protection (DRP) operations. This role ensures the team delivers timely and accurate insights to strengthen client defenses while building expertise in CTI, DRP, and Detection Engineering.

Core Responsibilities:

• Collect and process threat intelligence from multiple sources such as open source (OSINT), commercial/premium, and internal threat intelligence.
• Create and maintain detection rules on various security platforms such as SIEM, XDR, etc.
• Gather and analyze threat intelligence to understand new attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures, using this to feed into the development of detection strategies.
• Map indicators and TTPs to various frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK or Kill Chain for detection enrichment.
• Monitor DRP alerts for exposed assets, brand abuse, impersonation, credential leaks and dark web.
• Produce actionable tactical and operational intelligence reports for clients.
• Disseminate threat intelligence feeds and reports to clients.
• Monitor, triage, analyze, and report CTI and DRP alerts to clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. [Related cybersecurity professional certificates/licenses are a plus]
• 0-2 Years of experience in cybersecurity, IT Security, or SOC.
• Academic or internship experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or threat intelligence.
• Exposure to SIEM, EDR, or threat intelligence platforms.
• Exposure to Cyber Kill Chain, MITRE ATT&CK framework, and/or Diamond Model.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret complex data.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and foster strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
