Roles & Responsibilities
ROLE SUMMARY:
The Associate Manager Commercial is responsible for supporting local stores with sourcing and merchandising activities, as well as sales development through visual merchandising and brand visibility at the point of sale while setting forward estimates for the different buying groups, considering a number of variables, such as selling space, trends, feedback from stores. The role holder is responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of the stores while managing all suppliers.
ROLE PROFILE:
- Collaborates with store teams to ensure planograms are executed effectively, maintaining visual consistency and optimizing product placement across all locations.
- Oversees merchandising strategies by managing vendor relationships, ensuring timely product deliveries, and aligning inventory plans with commercial goals.
- Partners with merchants to forecast trends and demand, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely availability of products in line with consumer needs.
- Leads the buying process by developing category budgets, monitoring order fulfillment, and ensuring alignment with brand and business objectives.
- Ensures in-store visual merchandising standards are consistently applied, including the safe storage and maintenance of visual equipment and branding elements.
- Coordinates with Operations, Replenishment, and Marketing teams to align merchandising layouts with inventory levels and promotional campaigns, enhancing store performance.
- Develops and delivers training materials and workshops to store teams, promoting best practices in product display and maintaining up-to-date product knowledge.
- Implements merchandising policies and design criteria, ensuring compliance with company values and operational standards across all assigned areas.
Desired Candidate Profile
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar commercial or merchandising role.
- Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple merchandising strategies and timelines effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of product categories, brands, and industry trends within the detergent and personal hygiene sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related tools, with the ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent analytical skills to interpret market dynamics, forecast demand, and support strategic decision-making.
