Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
2D Development Manager - Electrical Wiring Harness
Integrated within the Capgemini Engineering teams dedicated to the automotive industry, you will participate in the development and design of mechanical and mechatronic components for innovative vehicles. You will work on technical projects, respecting project processes and collaborating with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Creation of FETE/strong> and proofreading of 2D plans.
- Using Capital Logic XC and Capital Integrator tools .
- Creation of formboards and updating of PTAs.
- Beam diversity management (modular/KSK).
- Participation in SDP robustness sessions .
- Monitoring and management of ISSUEs.
- Contribution to the Ecotech process.
Required skills
- In-depth knowledge of electrical wiring and cabling.
- My mastery of CATIA V6, 2D drafting and CAD tools.
- Good understanding of the processes related to wiring and electrical design.
- Skills in customer communication and strong responsiveness.
- Mastery of Capital Logic XC, Capital Integrator and Ecotech tools.
Soft Skills & Communication :
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (French and English).
- Ability to work in a team within a multicultural environment.
- Rigour, analytical mind and autonomy.
- Ability to collaborate with different professions and participate in technical meetings.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanics, mechatronics or electricity (or equivalent).
Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in the automotive sector, ideally in mechanical or electrical design.
Mastery of design and management tools: CATIA V5/V6, PLM, Capital Logic XC, Capital Integrator.
Knowledge of project processes (APQP, ECR/ECO) and trade rules (BIW steelwork, stamping, fitting, electrical wiring).
Ability to create 3D models, 2D plans and design mechanical or electrical components while respecting project constraints.
Good understanding of the steps in the V-cycle and of numerical validation methods.
Skills in customer communication, responsiveness and teamwork.
Strong interest in technologies related to automotive design and mechanical/electrical innovation.
