Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for various applications and services.
- Manage and automate cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to improve system performance and reliability.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
- Develop scripts and automation tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure security best practices are embedded in deployment and infrastructure processes.
- Keep up with industry trends and emerging technologies to propose innovative solutions.
Desired Candidate Profile
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 1+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- As we scale, we are looking for a candidate who can take ownership of the following key areas:
- Cost & Performance Optimization: Actively managing and optimizing cloud hosting costs while improving system response times.
- CI/CD Pipeline Management: Implementing and maintaining robust automated deployment pipelines to ensure seamless code delivery.
- Infrastructure Reliability: Maintaining near 100% uptime through proactive monitoring, alerting, and auto-scaling configurations.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Using tools like Terraform or Ansible to manage our environment and ensure high availability.
- Security & Backups: Integrating security best practices into the workflow and managing disaster recovery protocols.
- Strong understanding of Linux system administration and security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
