Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct digital forensic investigations to identify, collect, and analyse evidence.
  • Respond to cybersecurity incidents to mitigate risks and minimise impact.
  • Develop and implement incident response plans and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective information sharing.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation of findings for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Provide expert guidance on cybersecurity best practices and preventive measures.
  • Assist in the development of threat intelligence strategies.
  • Support training initiatives to enhance the organisation's incident response capabilities.

Desired Candidate Profile

A successful DFIR Consultant should have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certifications in digital forensics or cybersecurity, such as GIAC, EnCE, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience in digital forensics and incident response within the technology industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in using forensic tools and software.
  • Knowledge of network security and threat analysis.
