Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Heavy Truck Mechanic specializing in trucks and trailers (Scania, Volvo, MAN). The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic skills, hands-on repair experience, and the ability to work independently to ensure maximum vehicle uptime and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in heavy trucks
  • Perform scheduled maintenance (oil changes, brakes, tires, etc.)
  • Inspect and repair engine, transmission, clutch, suspension, steering, and brakes
  • Troubleshoot using diagnostic tools (e.g., Jaltest)
  • Repair components such as fuel pumps, injectors, alternators, and gearboxes
  • Maintain accurate service and maintenance records

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience in Scully system repair, calibration, and troubleshooting (diesel tankers)
  • Knowledge of valves maintenance (loading/unloading systems)
  • Experience with Robin PTO pump installation, servicing, and troubleshooting
  • Battery control system testing and reporting
  • GPS installation, repair, and maintenance for fleet vehicles
  • Camera surveillance system installation and monitoring setup
  • Strong electrical and mechanical skills
  • Understanding of fuel handling safety standards
  • Experience in tanker maintenance (3 5 years required)
  • Experience with RTA truck passing
