Roles & Responsibilities

Synopsis

To help answer the highest value analytical problem statements posed by different teams and departments across Etihad Airways to the Digital & eCommerce team.

Reporting to the Digital Engagement Senior Manager and working under the guidance of the Digital & eCommerce Director, he/she should leverage their advanced analytical skills and leverage the wider analytical toolkit, to lead and visualize Etihad s digital and enterprise data resources.

Also, he/she should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, to effectively work across a multi-disciplined environment.

He/she will be encouraged to develop their skills and techniques for the analysis of data and problem solving, to stay up-to-date with industry leading Digital Analytics capabilities

Accountabilities
  • Working with the Digital business leaders to analyze requirements and identify or design the solution to a problem
  • Execute complex, ad-hoc analyses utilizing Etihad s wider analytical toolkit proactively looking for further insights and root cause
  • Summarize / visualize results and highlight likely insights for the business translator to develop
  • Maintain documentation repository of solutions, to include methodology
  • Identify opportunities for automation and improvements to approach in each analysis performed, make recommendations to wider team as to priorities for further development
  • Develop and maintain proficiency with Adobe, Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI and other advanced analytic and database tools, in-house data sets, and other resources
  • Will be encouraged to develop one or more specializations in Etihad s key analytical disciplines (see required skills) and become the go-to person among peers in that field. Act as an expert and coach to wider analytics team
Education & Experience
  • 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in digital analytics, reporting and data management and/or Data Science models used in commercial/digital processes. Experience within the aviation industry in the areas of digital analytics, Business Analytics would be preferred
  • Minimum Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Technology or related field. Additional qualifications in analytical disciplines and techniques an advantage
  • Proven track record of managing successful digital analytical models and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
  • Good project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
