Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Product Specialist (Product Manager) manages one or more assigned digital solutions (ERP, CRM, IoT, AI/ML, Automation, Low-code/No-code, Integration) within Onetech s product portfolio. The role ensures the assigned product(s) are competitive, profitable, and aligned with customer demand and Onetech s delivery capabilities. Responsibilities include portfolio lifecycle management, roadmap definition, sales enablement, and integration of feedback from delivery/ops.
In the initial phases, the Product Specialist will also work closely with BOT partners who curate, deliver, and operate solutions on Onetech s behalf. The role ensures BOT-delivered offerings are properly integrated into Onetech s portfolio, comply with governance standards, and transition smoothly to in-house ownership over time.
Key Responsibilities
Product Portfolio & Lifecycle Management
- Define and maintain the lifecycle of assigned products (concept roadmap launch optimization retirement).
- Develop product business cases, pricing models, and value propositions.
- Monitor product P&L: shadow revenues, margin contributions, and adoption rates.
- Govern product lifecycle compliance, ensuring decisions (enhancement vs retirement) are evidence-based.
- Maintain product catalogues and ensure alignment with portfolio-wide strategy.
- Build documentation and knowledge repositories for each product as developed by BOT partners.
- Prepare Onetech for eventual transition from BOT-managed to Onetech -managed products, ensuring internal capability building.
Market & Competitor Intelligence
- Conduct structured research on customer needs, competitor solutions, pricing models, and global/regional trends.
- Benchmark Onetech s products against competitors, recommending differentiators or feature enhancements.
- Track % of advanced services (AI/automation, cloud-native, LCNC) in portfolio vs legacy SI.
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across ERP, CRM, IoT, and AI/Analytics domains.
BOT Partner & Vendor Integration
- Ensure BOT-delivered products comply with Onetech product governance standards (roadmap alignment, pricing, collateral, delivery readiness).
- Validate service readiness, automation features, and licensing agreements from BOT-delivered solutions.
Delivery & Operations Alignment
- Work with Delivery & Ops teams to validate feasibility, SLA readiness, and service support models for products.
- Ensure delivery incidents and SLA feedback are incorporated into roadmap decisions.
- Partner with PMO and Delivery Managers to ensure product launches are delivered on time and transitioned to steady-state operations.
- Track performance metrics: SLA adherence, incident reduction, partner vs internal delivery ratio
Sales & GTM Enablement
- Develop first-generation sales kits in collaboration with BOT partners (datasheets, FAQs, positioning decks).
- Provide technical/business inputs for RFPs, proposals, demos, and PoCs (in collaboration with Solution Consultants).
- Train Sales and SAMs on positioning, pricing models, and competitive differentiators.
- Align demand generation campaigns with product positioning (in collaboration with Marketing).
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Convert bespoke projects delivered via BOT or internal teams into repeatable, productized solutions.
- Recommend new digital services based on customer demand (e.g., GenAI, process automation).
- Identify opportunities for reusable frameworks, APIs, and accelerators.
- Monitor KPIs such as product profitability, customer satisfaction, and partner revenue ratio.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the subject matter expert for assigned products in customer and internal discussions.
- Collaborate with Delivery, Ops, Solution Consultants, & Sales teams to ensure products remain competitive.
- Engage with ecosystem partners and vendors to incorporate external innovations into the portfolio.
Internal Capability Building
- Work with the Manager to develop Onetech s internal product management capability, including templates, playbooks, and processes.
- Participate in training and shadowing with BOT partner product managers.
- Build towards Onetech s eventual independence in managing its product portfolio.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualification
- Bachelor s in IT/Engineering/Business; MBA preferred.
Certification
- Product Management certifications (AIPMM, Pragmatic, or equivalent).
- Vendor certifications in ERP, CRM, Cloud, or IoT platforms.
Experience
- 4 7 years in ICT product management, digital solutions, or portfolio governance.
- Proven track record in defining product roadmaps and driving adoption.
- Exposure to working with BOT or vendor-managed portfolios is an advantage.
Skills
- Strong commercial and analytical skills (P&L, pricing, business cases).
- Knowledge of ERP, CRM, IoT, AI/Automation, or system integration products.
- Familiarity with SLA-driven delivery models and service readiness requirements.
- Excellent communication and sales enablement capabilities.
