Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a cross-functional team of software developers, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of digital products.
- Define and implement best practices for software development, including coding standards, testing procedures, and version control.
- Manage the full software development life cycle from ideation to deployment, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Constantly work towards improving and reporting on the performance and user experience as measured against key metric & qualitative goals.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to guarantee the reliability and performance of digital solutions.
- Oversee the selection, implementation, and maintenance of business applications, ensuring they align with organizational needs.
- Work closely with business units to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency through technology.
- Develop programmes to implement digital and business solutions which will enable the organisation to deliver products and services which are efficient and highly effective of high-quality and user centred.
- Develop, manage, monitor, and implement the group’s digital strategy in line with organisational values, objectives, and priorities.
- Create and support an environment of digital solutions and best practice, ensuring the use of technologies for the benefit of stakeholders and employees.
- Create and embed a prioritisation approach to develop a roadmap for digital transformation with the relevant processes, tools and metrics to support business objectives and new growth opportunities.
- Take responsibility for the release approach and maintenance of the business and digital system applications through the planning and rollout of upgrades and enhancements to these systems.
- Implement all change in business systems ensuring it is designed, built, tested, and documented to ensure a seamless transition from project into business operation.
- Facilitate user adoption through training programs, clear communication, and support mechanisms.
- Build positive relationships with the key stakeholders inside and outside of the Group to maximise the benefits and utilizations of the digital solutions in achieving business needs and ASYAD’s key strategic policy objectives.
- Lead the Customer Experience and Digital Programme and implementation of the approved strategy ensuring that digital solutions are used to focus on improving the customer experience.
- Develop robust metrics for measuring the return on investment (ROI) of digital initiatives.
- Establish benchmarks and key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness and impact of digital projects.
- Drive the contribution that technology can make to the culture of the organisation, making it stronger and more open and innovative.
- Collaborate with Information Security team to proactively address potential threats, vulnerabilities, and adherence to the company’s security standards.
- Diligently performs any other reasonable work or related tasks at the request of his/her manager.
