PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Performs Direct Screen Wrap operation for Screens product line by programming, setting up, and operating machine, maintaining quality and safety standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Operate and set up direct wrap screen machines according to work instructions, ensuring all safety guards and interlocks are in place before starting production.
2. Complete the screen wrapping process, monitoring slot opening, current, voltage, pressure, coolant flow and temperature, pipe level, and support cart height throughout fabrication.
3. Adjust machine parameters during production to maintain optimal screen quality and compliance with required specifications.
4. Visually inspect pipe level and screen integrity during fabrication, following company inspection criteria and documenting results.
5. Adhere to Completion Products’ Quality Management System (QMS), including API and client-specific requirements for sand screens.
6. Maintain accurate records of production parameters, adjustments, and inspections using designated forms.
7. Perform preventative maintenance as per manufacturer guidelines and company checklists, ensuring work area is clean and organized according to 5S and housekeeping standards.
8. Follow all safety protocols, including use of PPE, machine guards, and safe handling of screens and machinery.
9. Collaborate with supervisors, quality inspectors, and other operators to ensure smooth workflow and compliance with production schedules.
