Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
JOB PURPOSE
Enable enterprise-wide backlog clarity and provide portfolio-level oversight and governance of IT change, ensuring alignment of business and technology priorities. Partner with business heads, BAs, and IT to define, document, and validate requirements (BRDs), manage backlog prioritisation, and plan paths-to-live. Run executive reporting and prioritisation/escalation forums, and manage change capacity, capability, and delivery standards to achieve controlled, timely, value-driven outcomes.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
Leadership Responsibilities:
•Serve as the single point of accountability for the IT change portfolio, providing executive visibility on progress, risks, and capacity across initiatives.
•Facilitate prioritisation and escalation forums with business and IT leadership to keep critical initiatives on track.
•Champion change-governance standards, reporting, metrics, and Business Enablement principles across the organisation.
Strategic Responsibilities:
•Align the change backlog with business objectives, regulatory needs, and IT capability to maximise enterprise value.
•Set and monitor KPIs/SLAs and capacity plans across initiatives; identify bottlenecks and recommend portfolio-level actions.
•Sequence and resource change initiatives optimally, balancing priorities, risk, and operational constraints.
Operational Responsibilities:
•Collaborate with Business Analytics s and IT teams to define, document, and validate requirements (BRDs, functional specs, workflows).
•Coordinate IT capacity, capability, and release planning to deliver changes on time and to agreed quality standards.
•Maintain a prioritised, actionable backlog; track progress, dependencies, issues, and path-to-live readiness.

Knowledge & Skills
- Banking change/FS backlog management in IT PMO/Business Enablement contexts
- ITIL/COBIT (change process, release, governance)
- Portfolio & backlog management (prioritisation, dependency management, alignment)
- Stakeholder engagement & influence across business and IT
- Project/program coordination (paths-to-live, capacity orchestration, timely delivery)
- Data analysis & reporting for executive insight
- Risk & escalation management; continuous improvement and Business Enablement mindset
Required Qualifications
•Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field.
•Preferred: Master’s Degree or Additional professional qualification
Required Experience:
•Minimum: 10-12 Years Work Experience in Banking Operations.
•Minimum: 5 Years Work Experience in Business Process Management / Operational Excellence
•Preferred: Have Led or was part of large (Digital) Transformation programs, preferably in large management consulting roles
•Preferred: Prior experience in set up of Business Enablement, CoE, or similar function
