Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive China market strategy aligned with Oman Airports commercial objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with Chinese airlines, travel agencies, tour operators, and key stakeholders.
Identify opportunities to increase passenger traffic from China, including new routes and frequency expansion.
Collaborate with marketing teams to design and execute campaigns targeting Chinese travelers.
Enhance passenger experience by promoting China-friendly services (e.g., language support, payment systems like Alipay/WeChat Pay).
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments in China aviation and tourism sectors.
Work closely with retail and duty-free teams to optimize commercial offerings tailored to Chinese passengers.
Represent Oman Airports in international forums, roadshows, and industry events focused on the China market.
Prepare regular reports on performance, KPIs, and market insights for senior management.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Aviation Management, Marketing, or a related field (Master s preferred).
Minimum 10 years of experience in aviation, tourism, or commercial development.
with minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership or managerial role within aviation, tourism, or commercial development.
Strong experience working with or within the Chinese market.
Proven track record in business development, partnerships, and revenue growth.
Strong understanding of Chinese travel behavior and market dynamics.
Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
Fluency in English; Mandarin is highly preferred.
Strategic thinking with strong analytical capabilities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Cultural awareness and ability to work across international markets.
