Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Technical Responsibilities
- Consolidate and analyze commercial data across Business Units and Delivery Partners to identify variances and trends.
- Lead the design of dashboards and reporting systems to monitor commercial KPIs at portfolio and program level.
- Provide scenario analysis to identify early risks and opportunities related to cost and schedule.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and transparency of all commercial data submissions across the SDU.
- Prepare detailed reports to feed into the Central Delivery Unit (CDU) dashboards and senior management presentations.
- Liaise with Finance, Risk, and Procurement to ensure data integrity across systems.
- Conduct root-cause analysis of deviations in budgets, EOT claims, or KPIs.
- Benchmark reporting methodologies against giga-project best practices in the GCC.
- Supervise and mentor commercial analysts within the Central Delivery Performance Office.
- Act as the technical point of contact for commercial data analytics with senior leadership.
Internal Stakeholders
- Commercial Director Administration & Reporting (SDU): Direct reporting line and primary stakeholder (weekly/bi-weekly).
- SDU Delivery Partnerships Lead: Alignment for portfolio-level insights (monthly/quarterly).
- Business Units (Sports, Entertainment, Hospitality, Retail, etc.): Provide cost and KPI data inputs (monthly).
- Central Procurement & Finance: Data validation and policy compliance (monthly).
- Central Delivery Unit (CDU): Alignment and contribution to enterprise dashboards (monthly/quarterly).
External Stakeholders
- Delivery Partners (Mace, Parsons, Jasara, etc.): Submission and validation of commercial data (weekly/monthly).
- PMCs & SMEs: Support data consolidation for SDU-managed contracts (monthly).
- Auditors / External Advisors: Independent validation of financial/commercial data (as required).
Desired Candidate Profile
- Degree: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or Quantity Surveying.
- Experience: 12 15 years in commercial analytics, cost control, or reporting within large-scale infrastructure or real estate projects in GCC.
- Licenses / Certifications: RICS, CIPS, PMP, or equivalent desirable.
- Skills: Strong data analytics and visualization (Power BI, Tableau, Primavera Analytics); advanced Excel; ability to synthesize commercial data into executive-level reports.
