The Director is responsible for expanding the Institute s regional and international footprint through outreach, partnerships, and donor engagement. The role combines academic rigor with entrepreneurial vision to ensure high-quality learning experiences, financial sustainability, and measurable impact aligned with the School s mission and the University s broader educational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a strategic plan for the Institute that drives innovation, growth, and alignment with SCEPD s overall goals.
• Establish and nurture partnerships with ministries, educational institutions, NGOs, and donor agencies to expand program reach and funding streams.
• Represent the Institute in national and international events, conferences, and public forums to enhance visibility and reputation.
• Identify new markets, opportunities, and trends to position SCEPD as a regional hub for teacher development and language education.

Program and Academic Excellence:

• Oversee the design, delivery, and evaluation of all teacher training and language programs to ensure academic quality, relevance, and accreditation compliance
• Lead the development of curricula and instructional materials that reflect best practices in adult learning, pedagogy, and assessment.
• Introduce innovative learning methodologies, including technology-enhanced and blended learning solutions.
• Ensure continuous improvement through systematic monitoring, learner feedback, and data-driven decision-making.

Faculty and Staff Development:

• Recruit, mentor, and evaluate instructors and trainers to maintain a high-performing teaching team.
• Design and deliver professional development programs to strengthen instructional competencies and teaching excellence.
• Promote a collaborative, inclusive, and performance-oriented work culture.

Operational and Financial Management:

• Set annual targets, budgets, and business development plans to ensure operational efficiency and financial sustainability.
• Define pricing strategies, enrollment goals, and marketing plans in coordination with relevant SCE offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and prepare periodic reports for the Dean and senior management.

Quality Assurance and Learner Experience:

• Oversee implementation of quality assurance systems to ensure program integrity and compliance with institutional and international standards.
• Foster a learner-centered culture that emphasizes satisfaction, engagement, and measurable learning outcomes.
