Director - Esports Content

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Director to lead the creative vision and execution of esports content productions across Saudi Arabia. This role is ideal for someone who can translate concepts into engaging narratives, manage on-set direction, and deliver high-impact content tailored to esports and gaming audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall creative direction and storytelling across all esports content shoots
• Collaborate with the producer and creative team to develop concepts, scripts, and shot plans
• Direct on-screen talent, esports players, and contributors to achieve authentic and engaging performances
• Work closely with the Director of Photography to define visual style, tone, and shot composition
• Oversee shoot execution to ensure alignment with creative vision and brand objectives
• Adapt quickly to fast-paced production environments and evolving shoot requirements
• Guide post-production teams on editing style, pacing, and final delivery

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Director in esports, gaming, digital content, or live event production
• Strong storytelling skills with the ability to create engaging, audience-driven content
• Experience directing talent in dynamic environments such as live events or studio productions
• Ability to manage creative teams and make decisive calls on set
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Experience working in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region is a strong plus
• Availability for the full contract period (late June to end of August)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with esports teams, tournaments, or gaming brands
• Familiarity with social media content formats and platform-specific storytelling
• Strong portfolio showcasing relevant work in esports, gaming, or high-energy digital content.
