Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial aspects of the organization, including financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and driving financial performance.
- Lead the preparation and analysis of financial statements, reports, and presentations for stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard assets, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Manage and optimize the company's cash flow, working capital, and investment strategies, ensuring financial stability and efficient resource allocation.
- Direct the annual budgeting process, setting financial targets, and monitoring performance against budget, with a focus on achieving profitability and cost efficiency.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment, while providing guidance and support for professional development.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions, ensuring effective communication and compliance with financial requirements.
- Evaluate and recommend investment opportunities, mergers, and acquisitions, and other strategic financial initiatives, contributing to the company's growth.
- Oversee tax planning and compliance, ensuring the company adheres to all relevant tax laws and regulations, minimizing tax liabilities.
- Implement and maintain financial systems and technologies to improve efficiency, accuracy, and reporting capabilities, streamlining financial processes.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in financial principles and practices.
- Demonstrates 10+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role, proving a track record of success.
- Exhibits proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems), enabling effective financial analysis and decision-making.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and standards.
- Exhibits exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Demonstrates a track record of strategic thinking and business acumen, contributing to the company's overall financial success.
- Displays a proactive and results-oriented approach, with a commitment to driving financial performance and achieving organizational goals.
