Director, Marketing Egypt
Location: Cairo, Egypt
Function: Marketing
Reports to: Sr. Director, Marketing Egypt
Role Purpose
The Egypt Marketing organization is accelerating its transformation to deliver stronger, balanced, and sustainable growth driven by deep consumer understanding, digitally powered precision marketing, cross-system collaboration, and impactful innovation.
The Director, Marketing Egypt serves as the end-to-end marketing leader for the country, responsible for translating Operating Unit (OU) strategies into powerful, locally relevant execution that drives brand love, market share, and business performance. This role integrates system partners, steers capability development, and orchestrates full funnel marketing excellence across Egypt s diverse consumer, customer, and channel landscape.
Scope, Focus & Impact Areas
1. Marketing Leadership & Business Impact
- Serve as the strategic and operational marketing lead for Egypt, accountable for brand health, equity growth, market share, and full-funnel marketing performance.
- Combine local market insights with OU strategic frameworks to create high-impact, locally resonant plans.
- Build strong collaboration and alignment with bottling partners, agencies, customers, and cross-functional teams.
- Act as the senior-most marketing integrator for Egypt, representing the voice of the consumer and the market.
2. Strategy, Portfolio & Annual Business Planning
- Lead the development of the Egypt portfolio strategy and annual marketing calendar.
- Own the Annual Business Plan (ABP) for marketing and steward its execution with excellence.
- Influence OU Long-Range Plans (LRPs) with consumer-led, market-driven insights.
- Drive portfolio optimisation using consumer, shopper, and channel intelligence.
3. Insights, Research & Consumer Intimacy
- Lead identification, localization, and application of consumer and shopper insights.
- Partner with the OU to shape and deploy the Egypt insights and research agenda.
- Translate insights into growth opportunities, innovation platforms, and brand strategies.
4. Brand Building, Innovation & Flywheel Execution
- Own Egypt s end-to-end brand and innovation plans: strategy activation tracking.
- Ensure rigorous flywheel execution test, learn, optimize, scale.
- Lead flawless market execution of brand programs, toolkits, and innovation launches.
- Steer in-market performance reviews and continuous improvement cycles.
5. Integrated Marketing Experience (IMX) Leadership
- Lead IMX execution in Egypt aligned with OU strategy across:
- Media
- Content & Studio X
- Digital & social
- Influencers
- Packaging and brand assets
- Ensure optimal allocation of marketing investments for highest ROI.
- Prioritize and orchestrate marketing initiatives across channels, customers, and campaigns.
6. Capability Development & Ways of Working
- Build, coach, and inspire a high-performing Egypt marketing team (typically 10 20 team members) with ~4 5 direct reports.
- Accelerate capabilities in digital marketing, analytics, creative strategy, and agile ways of working.
- Simplify and embed OU-to-market operating models that drive speed, integration, and consistent impact.

- 15+ years of senior marketing leadership experience across:

- Budget and P&L stewardship
- Deep expertise across core marketing disciplines:
- Creative & connections strategy
- Brand positioning
- Growth strategy
- Consumer design
- Proven success leading large teams and cross-functional, multi geography groups.
- Strong commercial mindset and experience working within or with the Coca Cola System (preferred).
- Demonstrated experience delivering digital- and data-enabled marketing solutions.
- Frontline market marketing leadership is highly advantageous.
