Job Description
Safran is an international high-tech group operating in the fields of aerospace, space and defense.
Safran Aicraft Engines (SAE) is a Safran Group company. With nearly 15,000 employees at 31 locations in 9 countries, SAE has been a rovery engine manufacturer for more than 110 years. We design, develop, produce and market, alone or in cooperation, engines for civil and military aircraft, as well as for satellites.
SAE has a network of civil engine maintenance workshops around the world and offers its customers a complete range of interventions: performance restoration, replacement of parts with a limited lifespan, inspection and maintenance of the entire engine and its equipment.
To cope with the ramp-up of LEAP engine maintenance in the coming years, Safran Aircraft Engines Services Casablanca (SAESC) has launched the construction of a new shop in Morocco. Our new workshop located in the Casablanca-Settat region will ensure the maintenance of new types of civil aircraft engines (LEAP) which equip the Airbus A320neo and the Boeing 737Max.

The Director of Operations is responsible for the operational and administrative management of personnel, as well as for the maintenance and operations (MRO) activities of aircraft engines carried out by the Company. He/she is responsible for the overall results in terms of safety, quality, cost, delivery, personnel and innovation in the workshop.
Main missions:
- To set the department's objectives from the objectives of the general management
- To define, communicate and monitor the application of the operational strategy to achieve the objectives of the workshop in terms of HSE, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Personnel and Innovation
- To ensure that the Quality Management System is applied in the workshop's activities. In the event of deviation, develop an action or recovery plan using the appropriate
Group tool- Develop, execute, control and review the workshop's operational budget to achieve the defined objectives in HSE, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Personnel and Innovation
- Ensure that staff have the necessary skills and abilities, according to their position and levels of responsibility and establish an action plan in case of deficiencies
- Promote and establish an environment of continuous improvement and participatory innovation at all levels
- Establish a communication network within the group to share good practices, resources and knowledge to achieve objectives more effectively
- Guarantee the availability of a suitable working environment, tools, equipment, materials, approved maintenance data, working documents and storage means for parts in maintenance and registration of operations
Job Requirements
Post office in Morocco, Casablanca
Diploma level: Bac+5
Type of diploma: Diploma Engineer (in ronautics,
Overall experience: 10 to 15 years in the direction and management of technical teams in a CAR 145 maintenance environment.
Experience in component maintenance in a CAR/Part-145 environment (with fixed wing ronefs, engine maintenance or advanced technical discipline also considered).
Experience in site management, including industrial facilities, equipment and tools.
Understanding of maintenance data and industry technical best practices.
Strong skills in team management, safety and procedures.
Experience working with an Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) system and MS Office.
In-depth knowledge of human factors and their application according to DGCA and EASA requirements.
Ad quate skills in communication and English (oral and written).
Technical and behavioural skills:
In-depth knowledge of HSE and the regulatory framework applicable to the workshop.
Knowledge of quality management systems and/or regulations applicable to the workshop.
