Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Establish the Performing Arts Centre as a defining feature of Repton Dubai, showcasing high-quality productions, innovative teaching, and meaningful creative experiences that position the school as a regional leader in music, drama and dance
Build a performing arts culture that students are proud to belong to one that enriches their identity, confidence, and future pathways, and that strengthens Repton s connections to the UAE arts landscape and the wider Repton family.
Leadership Responsibilities Overview
Leading Strategically
Develop a 3-year PA vision
Lead strategic use of the Centre
Build partnerships
Embed oracy
Leading Production & Performance
Direct productions
Develop performance calendar
Expand ensembles
Lead flagship shows
Leading Teaching & Learning
Oversee curriculum
Ensure excellent teaching
Strengthen creative skills
Guide pathways
Leading Professional Learning
Develop staff
Foster collaboration
Support innovation
Model growth
Leading Operations & Resources
Oversee equipment
Ensure safety
Manage budgets
Coordinate scheduling
Desired Candidate Profile
Essential
Degree in Performing Arts, Music, Drama, Dance, or related area.
Significant leadership experience in performing arts education.
Demonstrated success directing productions and artistic programmes.
Strong curriculum design expertise.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to inspire students and staff.
Desirable
Experience in high-performing UK or international schools.
Experience with professional arts organisations.
Experience in liaising and developing partnerships with outside organisations to promote the Arts.
Expertise in oracy development.
