Roles & Responsibilities

Strategy & Leadership:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global export sales strategy aligned with company objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize target markets and territories for expansion.
  • Set ambitious yet achievable sales targets, budgets, and forecasts for all international regions.
  • Lead, mentor, and expand a team of international sales managers and representatives.
  • Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Business Development & Relationship Management:

  • Build, manage, and optimize a network of distributors, agents, and strategic partners.
  • Directly negotiate and secure large contracts with key multinational accounts and OEMs.
  • Conduct market research to understand competitive landscapes, customer needs, and pricing dynamics.
  • Represent the company at key international trade shows, conferences, and client meetings.
  • Ensure high levels of partner and customer satisfaction and retention.

Sales Operations & Execution:

  • Oversee the entire international sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure and post-sales support.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to adjust tactics and report on performance to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product Development, Logistics, and Finance teams to ensure seamless international operations.
  • Manage export documentation, compliance, and logistics in coordination with relevant departments.
  • Ensure all international activities adhere to trade regulations, sanctions, and company policies
  • Do any other work assigned to him by the company management not inconsistent with company policy.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in international sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (Export Director, International Sales Manager, Regional Director).
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and executing export strategies that consistently meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Demonstrated experience in selecting, onboarding, and managing distributors/agents across multiple continents (specify regions relevant to your business, e.g., EMEA, APAC, Americas).
  • Strong financial and business acumen, with experience in pricing, contract negotiation, and P&L management.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and international business intelligence tools.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and intercultural negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a significant advantage.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively internationally.
  • Solid understanding of international trade documentation, Incoterms, and basic regulatory compliance.
