Key Responsibilities
* Lead technical, facilities, and sustainability operations across Global Snow assets in alignment with Majid Al Futtaim s safety and environmental standards.
* Oversee all technical systems including refrigeration, humidity control, snowmaking, and mechanical infrastructure to maintain optimal conditions.
* Direct large-scale refurbishment projects, ensuring continuity of guest experience and technical reliability.
* Implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs to maximize system uptime and efficiency.
* Ensure compliance with EN, ASTM, and local safety standards for chairlifts, ropeways, and vertical transport systems.
* Drive sustainability initiatives, focusing on CO reduction, energy conservation, and eco-friendly facility practices.
* Collaborate with sustainability teams to achieve Net Positive goals across all operations.
* Manage CAPEX planning, vendor relations, and project lifecycle from feasibility through commissioning.
* Develop long-term technical innovation strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
* Foster a strong safety culture through training, audits, and proactive risk management.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering; advanced FM or sustainability certification preferred.
* 10 15 years of senior leadership experience in technical or facilities management roles.
* Proven expertise in snow or ski resort systems, large-scale entertainment venues, or themed attractions.
* Strong project management and CAPEX budgeting experience.
* Deep understanding of health, safety, and environmental compliance standards.
* Experience implementing energy management and sustainability programs.
* Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
