Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of project control strategies specific to transport infrastructure projects.
- Manage cost control, scheduling, risk assessment, and performance monitoring to ensure timely project delivery.
- Direct and mentor the project controls team to uphold best practices and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align project objectives and controls processes.
- Generate comprehensive reports, dashboards, and forecasts for senior management and stakeholders.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize project impact.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive utilization of project management software tools such as Primavera P6 and others.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Over 12 years of progressive experience in project controls within transport infrastructure or related sectors.
- Proven leadership experience leading project control teams on large-scale transport or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, cost control, scheduling, and risk management.
- Expertise with project controls software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Professional certification such as PMP or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field; a master s degree is an advantage.
- Minimum of 10-12+ years of experience in project controls and planning, with a strong focus on large-scale construction projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex projects, preferably in the sports or entertainment sector.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management software, scheduling tools, and cost control systems.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is preferred.
- Experience working in the Middle East is a plus.
