Roles & Responsibilities

Strategic Contribution

  • Lead the full lifecycle of the SAP financial reporting integration project across eight subsidiaries.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans and functional roadmaps for the establishment of a fit for purpose accounting & finance function by the designing and driving the setup of the subsidiary ERP requirements.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within Operations, Finance and Technology.
  • Work with key Corporate and Operational stakeholders to achieve a practical solution that meets operational business needs.
  • Ensure that the strategy translates into operational business reporting to monitor the performance of the business using cross functional metrics to achieve and deliver the company s strategy

Data Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with local and international data protection and accounting regulations.
  • Collaborate with procurement, HR, accounting and IT teams to ensure robust data alignment and transfer building effectives processes and interfaces to ensure data integrity.
  • Define and developed approach to ensure data integrity & controls between business systems and ERP

Data Management & Architecture

  • Ability to work with both Finance and Technology, understanding principles, terminology and capability of components to drive a successful outcome form the operational businesses
  • Consider the development of scalable data platforms (data lakes, data warehouses, etc.) to supplement the reporting data currently available in the ERP as an interim solution.
  • Ensure high standards of data quality, availability, integrity, and accessibility the SAP reporting network including key source systems.
  • Design business system architecture to capture the required data flows to support business operations and the production of financial and accounting information. Design and implement integrations between source data systems and ERP reconciling data between systems and suggesting improvements with support from Technology.

Business Intelligence & Advanced Analytics

  • To support production of AFS, consider ERP modules needed to effectively manage the operations to drive efficiency and accuracy in reporting.
  • Business system integrations of supporting systems used by operations in the production of management & financial accounts and other operational reporting requirements
  • Design financial Operations BI initiatives to empower decision-making to ensure ancillary data management programs deliver reports to drive management decision making in a manner that support non-finance users
  • Collaborate with business units to develop and build financial and non-financial KPIs, dashboards, and performance reports.

Leadership and People Management

  • Foster cross-functional partnerships with business leaders, IT, and Finance.
  • Promote a data-driven culture through education and advocacy.

Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of operational function systems, processes and practices considering international best practice , improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
  • Promote the use of modern technologies and digital transformation initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness in operational subsidiaries.
  • Act as a key liaison between business, finance and technical teams to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.

Desired Candidate Profile

Recognised Accounting Qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CPA)

  • 10+ years of experience in financial systems and reporting projects, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale financial systems implementations and projects including financials, SOPs, establishing workflows and documenting supporting processes.
  • Prior international project or work experience, ideally across multi-subsidiary environments.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and best practices in financial governance.
  • Advanced SQL and Database skills and power user in MS Power Query for data manipulation and Reporting.
  • Microsoft Certified in Power BI and working knowledge of MS Fabric, Azure, AI and Cybersecurity a distinct advantage.
  • Experience working in global organizations and international experience is preferred.
