Your tasks include

• Significant involvement in shaping and further developing the Public Affairs offering within the Strategy & Communications department in close collaboration with senior management.

• Development and management of integrated public affairs strategies for national and international clients, aligned with their business, reputation and transformation goals.

• Advising board members, CEOs and top management on political, regulatory and social issues as well as complex stakeholder situations.

• Responsibility for key client mandates, including strategic management, quality assurance and further development of existing mandates

• Active contribution to business development, in particular through expanding existing customer relationships, identifying new consulting needs, participating in pitches and providing content-related input.

• Leadership, development and inspiration of consulting and project teams, including talent development and promotion of a performance-oriented, entrepreneurial culture.

What we wish for

• Entrepreneurial leader with excellent language skills, strong team orientation, and a pronounced passion for politics, economics, and media.
• A completed university degree and at least 12 years of relevant professional experience in public affairs, political consulting, strategic communication or related fields, ideally with significant consulting experience and/or an international background.
• A very deep understanding of political decision-making processes, regulatory frameworks, and the interactions between politics, economics, and society.
• Confident and convincing demeanor at the C-level, strong communication skills, high personal commitment, reliability, and organizational excellence.
• Strong service and customer orientation, as well as the ability to strategically utilize, deepen and further develop existing relationships at the top management level.
• Strategic, creative and innovative thinking with the ability to quickly familiarize oneself with new topics and industries; ideally complemented by experience in the use of artificial intelligence and a very good understanding of traditional and digital media.
• German at native speaker level; fluent English
