Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Develop and implement a targeted aeronautical strategy for Western markets aligned with Oman Airports commercial objectives.
Identify and secure new airline partnerships, routes, and frequencies from Europe, the UK, and North America.
Lead airline marketing and route development initiatives for Western carriers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with airlines, alliances, aviation authorities, and industry stakeholders.
Analyze market demand, traffic trends, and competitor airport strategies to identify growth opportunities.
Support negotiations related to traffic rights, incentives, and aeronautical agreements.
Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, and tourism stakeholders) to support route launches and sustainability.
Represent Oman Airports at international aviation events, route development forums, and roadshows.
Monitor performance of Western routes and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Aviation, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (Master s preferred).
10+ years of experience in aviation, airline route development, or airport commercial roles.
with minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership or managerial role within same function.
Strong experience dealing with Western aviation markets (Europe/UK/North America).
Proven track record in airline negotiations and network expansion.
