DISPATCHER

EARTH AND BEYOND

We are looking for a reliable Dispatcher to act as a communication point for customers, drivers, and internal teams.


The Dispatcher will receive requests, coordinate deliveries, monitor routes, and ensure efficient and timely service.


This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Receive and process orders via phone, WhatsApp, email, or system.


Schedule and dispatch drivers to appropriate locations according to customer needs and priorities.


Monitor delivery progress to ensure on-time completion.


Update customers on order status, delays, or issues when necessary.


Handle emergencies, route changes, or last-minute requests efficiently.


Communicate with drivers to provide instructions, directions, or assistance.


Keep accurate records of deliveries, driver schedules, mileage, and incidents.


Work closely with the warehouse and customer service teams to manage stock availability and order accuracy.


Resolve customer complaints or delivery issues professionally.


Optimize delivery routes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

High school diploma; additional qualifications are a plus. References are a must.

Previous experience in dispatch, logistics, customer service, or a related field preferred.

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Ability to remain calm and work efficiently under pressure.

Familiarity with dispatch software, GPS systems, or delivery apps is an advantage.

Basic computer skills (email, Excel, WhatsApp).
