ROLE SUMMARY
The Manager - Distribution is responsible for all logistical operations for MAF Retail. The role holder is also responsible for using best practices to optimize the Logistic operations and costs by utilizing synergies to satisfy the targeted customer group as per agreed timelines and budget

ROLE PROFILE

• Provide inputs on the development of a strategic plan for the DC Operation to help achieve organization objectives
• Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient receiving, storage, picking, and dispatching aligned with store and merchandise needs.
• Oversee the definition of the logistics KPIs and ensure its accuracy and implementation
• Anticipate the DC Operations storage & preparation required capacity matching the current country strategy evolution
• Propose solutions and implement actions to ensure security and hygiene of the goods till the reach
• Propose and manage the application of investments or projects that reinforce productivity and profitability
• Ensure that logistics operations support merchandise and store needs
• Propose DC Operations projects and strategies according to the business needs and oversee its proper execution

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor Degree in Logistics or related field
• 8+ years of experience in warehouse management in retail industry
• Strong experience in warehouse managment is a MUST
• Experience in Refrigerated Warehouses
• Strong people management skills
