Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Distribution Requirements Specialist executes and coordinates logistics activities in line with DuPont standards, including:
Creating loading plans with logistics service providers.
Performing SAP logistics transactions (delivery and shipment creation, logistics process tracking).
Reviewing and resolving clean orders to ensure smooth execution.
Coordinating shipments with planners, warehouses, and commercial teams, especially during peak and quarter end periods.
Requesting freight rates for special shipments and managing carrier claims.
Handling logistics related customer complaints and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
In close collaboration with the business, the role may provide additional support by:
Reviewing HS codes for new materials, changes, or MRO items.
Maintaining master data with relevant authorities (MCI, FASAH, Customs) for importer/exporter of record and COO issuance.
Representing DuPont in interactions with ministries and customs authorities when required.
Resolving escalated customs or regulatory issues that could suspend import or export activities.
Contributing to annual tenders, supply chain design projects, and inventory counts
What we expect:
Solid understanding of customs, trade compliance, and logistics processes in KSA.
Experience with import/export documentation, permits, and regulatory interfaces.
Working knowledge of SAP logistics and shipment execution processes.
Skills
Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills across internal and external partners.
High attention to detail with a solution and compliance driven mindset.
Ability to operate independently in a dynamic, operational environment. You take ownership of the tasks and businesses in scope and take immediate action to avoid disruptions in our Supply Chain
Clear and structured communication skills in a business setting.
Experience & Education
Prior experience in logistics, customs, or distribution roles, ideally within a multinational environment.
Experience in KSA or familiarity with local regulatory requirements is a strong advantage.
You are experienced in dealing with MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint) and ERP systems (SAP)
You convince our national and international business partners with your very good knowledge in English. Any other language is a plus.
Desired Candidate Profile
Customs & Trade Operations
The role is accountable for day to day customs execution and regulatory compliance, including:
- Issuing landing permits, broker authorizations, and import permits (e.g. MCI, SFDA, NRCI, Public Security).
- Managing urgent duty exemption and drawback topics, including quantity corrections and exception handling.
- Providing monthly import and export statistics for statutory and internal reporting.
- Supporting customs audits and managing regulatory changes impacting trade (e.g. SASO requirements).
- Addressing right to operate issues that may affect import/export continuity.
