Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Range of exploration terrains or belts (at least 2 ) and significant knowledge of at least 2 commodities, understanding a further 2 or significant depth of knowledge in single commodity or exploration process
At least 2 or 3 major classes of mineralization
Full range of exploration methods and processes known, chooses the most effective
Budgeting and finance skills
Knowledge of several deposits from extensive field visits or minesite secondments
Deduces three-dimensional geology from geophysical and geochemical information
Visualizes describes and defends 3D geological ore body models for most target commodities
Readily recognizes the unusual
Recognizes consequences of anomalous databr> Applies the known to the unfamiliar

District Geologist is reponsible from exploration activities over a significant district to continuity of works required
