Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

The Division Finance Manager will oversee all financial activities of the division including approvals for petty cash, local purchase orders, and staff leaves or trips.

The role includes vetting and approving various financial documents such as sales records, requests to orders, costing sheets, tenders, petty cash vouchers, and overtime claims.

The DFM will ensure timely ERP transaction updates to support business performance reviews, prepare and monitor reconciliations for banks, suppliers, customers, and other accounts, and ensure that payments, receivables, and payables are processed accurately and on time.

The position also manages assets, banking transactions, supplier invoices, and invoicing of dispatches while ensuring that error logs are cleared.

Additionally, the DFM assists in ERP troubleshooting, provides training and mentorship to staff, ensures compliance with all financial and internal control policies, and coordinates with both internal and external auditors including ISO audits.

Key Requirements

Applicants must be CA or ACCA qualified with 7 to 12 years of relevant experience and hold a Graduate or Post Graduate degree in Accounting or Costing.

Candidates with internationally recognized qualifications such as CA, ACCA, ICWA, or CPA will be preferred.

An IT certification will also be an added advantage.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

The ideal candidate will have more than 7 years of experience in a similar finance leadership role within a mid-size to large organization, preferably using Tier 1 ERP packages.

Strong written and oral communication skills, proven expertise in financial and cost accounting, and advanced proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems are essential.

Exposure to the manufacturing sector and experience with product and process costing will be valuable, along with ERP implementation experience.

The candidate must demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and be an effective team leader and motivator with prior experience in staff training and development.
