Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and control the flow of all project documentation, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Organize, classify, and maintain both electronic and hard copy documents related to commercial concrete projects.
  • Ensure timely distribution of documents to internal teams, subcontractors, and clients as required.
  • Track document versions, revisions, and approvals to maintain up-to-date records throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to gather, verify, and archive essential documentation.
  • Implement and maintain document control procedures and systems to streamline workflow and improve efficiency.
  • Conduct regular audits of documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with safety and building regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of project documentation for regulatory approvals and inspections.
  • Provide training and support to team members on document control processes and best practices.
  • Respond promptly to requests for information and documentation from project stakeholders.

Desired Candidate Profile

3-5 years of proven experience in document control, preferably within the construction or engineering industry.

Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.

Familiarity with document management systems and electronic filing protocols.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with project teams.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document control software.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of construction industry standards, terminology, and documentation requirements.

Experience working in an office-based environment with cross-functional teams.

Commitment to upholding safety and regulatory compliance in all documentation processes.
