Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Experience & Core Responsibilities

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Document Controller in construction or engineering projects.

Managing and controlling all project documents (incoming & outgoing).

Maintaining document registers, logs, and trackers.

Handling technical documents: drawings, submittals, RFIs, method statements, reports, etc.

Document numbering, filing, archiving, and version control.

Distributing documents to consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Ensure compliance with company procedures and project document control systems.

Systems & Software Skills

Proficient in:

MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) advanced level.

Document Management Systems (DMS) such as Aconex, Procore, SharePoint, or equivalent.

Basic knowledge of AutoCAD drawings is an advantage.

Coordination & Communication

Ability to coordinate efficiently with:

Project Managers

Technical Office

Site Engineers

Consultants and Clients

Follow up on pending documents, approvals, and submissions.

Quality & Compliance

Ensure documents are issued correctly with proper revision status.

Maintain confidentiality and data security.

Support QA/QC documentation and audits.

Soft Skills

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience: 7 10 Years

Education

  • Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Professional certifications are a plus (PMP, Primavera, Contract Management, etc.).
